Man United hold two meetings with Andrey Santos’ agent, Chelsea value midfielder above £30m – Fabrizio Romano

Manchester United remain interested in Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos. The Red Devils been monitoring the Brazilian for several months.
According to Fabrizio Romano, United held two meetings with Santos’ representative, Giuliano Bertolucci, in February and March, establishing a positive relationship with the player’s camp.
The 22-year-old is understood to be one of several midfielders on Manchester United’s shortlist as the club continues to assess its options ahead of the new season.
However, no official bid has been made to Chelsea.
Chelsea are willing to consider selling Santos, but only if they receive a significant offer. The Blues are not actively looking to offload the Brazilian and would also be happy for him to remain at Stamford Bridge and continue his development.
A transfer would therefore require a substantial fee, with Chelsea valuing Santos well above the £20-30 million range.
Manchester United are expected to make further decisions on their midfield plans after the completion of Ederson’s medical and Santos remains one of the names under consideration.
