How Manchester United should line up vs Leicester in the Premier League

Manchester United will be looking to keep their unbeaten home run going when they host Leicester in the Premier League later today.
Erik ten Hag’s side head into the match buoyed by their impressive midweek draw with Barcelona and will be eager to keep the momentum going ahead of next week’s decisive second leg.

United won the reverse fixture 1-0 against Leicester, ending a run of four league games without a win against them. However, the Foxes have avoided defeat in their last two Premier League visits to Old Trafford.
In terms of early team news, Casemiro is still suspended, but Lisandro Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer are both available after missing the Barcelona tie.
There has to come a point where Wout Weghorst comes out of the team. The ends justified the means with Weghorst’s deployment in a withdrawn role in Barcelona and he may be more tactically key in the second leg than against Leicester.
With Martinez available again, he has to come back in for his first start in 11 days and Luke Shaw can return to left-back. Sabitzer is an obvious recall with Casemiro still suspended and this is a good test to recall Alejandro Garnacho.
Garnacho comes in
There is a temptation to make changes ahead of a pivotal double-header next week, but it is more important that United maintain momentum by winning this game first.
Diogo Dalot would be a sensible change in defence given the onus is on them to attack, and Martinez should start in anticipation of another two starts next week.
There is not much scope for change in midfield even if Scott McTominay is back, so Fred and Sabizter should play together in the axis with Bruno Fernandes further forward.
Weghorst needs a rest at some point, and this might be the most sensible time to do so. Marcus Rashford is the best striker at the club, and Garnacho will benefit from another start on the left.
