EPL: Arsenal’s Next 3 Games That Could See Them Drop Crucial Points And Leave Top Spot

Arsenal have now gone three games without a win, and things are clearly becoming difficult for Arteta and his team. The League leaders were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Brentford today, preventing them from increasing the gap at the top.

Arsenal currently sits six points ahead of Manchester City, with quite a lot of league games remaining. If they continue to drop crucial points as they have in their last two games, they may be handing over their top spot to either Manchester City or Manchester United in the coming days.

Looking at their next three fixtures, the Gunners will not have it easy, and based on recent performances, their next three opponents will not be easy to beat.

Let’s take a look at the teams Arsenal will face in their next three games;

1. Arsenal VS Manchester City (15th of February):

This game will undoubtedly be difficult, and based on their track record, Manchester City are the favorites to win.

2. Aston Villa VS Arsenal (18th of February)

After facing City, Arsenal will travel Villa Park to face 11th-placed Aston Villa, who are been coach by their former boss, Unai Emery.

The hosts have been in excellent form in their last three games, with two wins and one loss, compared to the Arsenal team, who have seen two losses and a draw in their last three games. https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3217186596641350" crossorigin="anonymous">Aston Villa are clearly a formidable opponent at the moment who could cause Arsenal to drop crucial points.

3. Leicester City VS Arsenal (25th of February)

Leicester extended their winning streak in all competitions to three games after thrashing Tottenham 4-1 in today’s league match. They have been outstanding this month and appear to be a team not to be taken lightly. Arsenal must perform admirably in this game or risk losing crucial points.
