Moises Caicedo: ‘My dream is to play for Man Utd’
The Ecuadorian star had the opportunity to move to the Old Trafford team in the past.
Moises Caicedo has now become a Һot commodity in the transfer market, and is facing the opportunity to join big clubs like Arsenal or Chelsea before the winter transfer window closes. Recently, the Gunners are said to have sent Brighton an offer worth a total of £ 70 million for Caicedo, but this club was quicker to turn it down.
In fɑct, Caicedo has also faced the ρrosρect of playing for another big team in the past, but that is the case with Manchester United. In January 2021, the Red Devils had the opportunity to sign Caicedo from Independiente del Valle for less than £ 4.5 million, but in the end they ignored the deal and Caicedo decided to move to Brighton.
Notably, in a previous interview, Caicedo also admitted that he dreamed of playing for Man Utd. Manchester Evening News quoted the Ecuadorian star:
“My dream is to play for Manchester United. Antonio Valencia is an example for me to follow.”
“With his energy and dedication, he was able to reach that level. It motivates me to keep working hard and doing the right things.”
