(Video) Antony cuts in to score wonderful goal from distance vs Charlton
The Red Devils were handed a favourable draw against Charlton at Old Trafford, with their opponents currently 12th in League One.
United manager Erik ten Hag made changes to his side with a derby clash against Manchester City coming up on Saturday.
One player he did start is Antony, who is yet to fully live up to his £86 million price tag.

Manchester United are beating Charlton Athletic 1-0 in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals thanks to a brilliant goal by Antony.
The early changes in the game were falling the way of Manchester United in what has been an open game. Alejandro Garnacho, Diogo Dalot and Fred all had chances but were unable to put the ball in the back of the net.
The 22-year-old has struggled with injury and a recent issue off the pitch, which saw him miss last Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth.
Antony scored in Friday’s 3-1 victory against Everton with his weaker right foot. This evening, he’s unleashed an absolute pearler with his favoured left.
Fred worked the ball out wide to Antony, who took a few touches to compose himself. The Brazil international bent the ball around the Addicks defence and goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer to put United in front.
It took a moment of magic from Antony to open the scoring.
