Moises Caicedo changes agents ahead of anticipated summer switch ~ Football vows

When Manchester United decided against a deal to sign Moises Caicedo in January 2021, the team really lost out.

The midfielder, who just joined Brighton, shone in back-to-back triumphs over Manchester United last season, demonstrating to the team what they might have been.

Ecuador’s Caicedo was a standout at the World Cup, and reports suggest that United may have been interested again. The Sun reports that the Red Devils may have to fork over £70 million to sign him the following summer.

While this is far more than the initial sum United might have acquired Caicedo for, it is also half as much as Jude Bellingham, a potential substitute.

Due to his most recent endeavors, Moises Caicedo may be considering leaving Brighton this coming summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Caicedo has reportedly switched agents in preparation for a summer move, saying he is “preparing for his future move.”

The fact that Caicedo is open to moving is excellent news for Manchester United should they decide to make a bid for him.

It is still believed that United needs to add another midfielder, and given the competition from Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Liverpool, it will be challenging to get Jude Bellingham.

Therefore, it seems necessary to have backup plans in place. Caicedo, who is still only 21 years old and has already shown himself in the Premier League, is one such choice.

Not just United will be interested. Graham Potter might try to get him to Chelsea, and according to Sky Sports, Liverpool is also interested.

United’s summer spending will be fueled by a takeover that is anticipated in the first quarter of 2023. The Red Devils won’t have the money to cover a quick January exit, so hopefully Caicedo’s new agents won’t make that happen.
