CONFIRMED: Ronaldo agrees to join the European ‘big man’
Forward Cristiano Ronaldo has chosen the ideal berth to join after breaking up with Man United.
The 37-year-old striker is believed to want to leave, but provided that he only plays for the team who has a precarious Champions League performance despite the great interest from the “big” money of Saudi Arabia.
Chelsea also expressed their desire to have the Portuguese striker’s service in the summer market, but the deal did not materialize but instead, The Blues signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Raheem Sterling to strengthen the team’s attack.
However, the prospect of one day CR7 will play the same color with Messi will not be far away. When the prestigious newspaper Le’Equipe recently revealed, Ronaldo had told his best friend that he was ready to join PSG.
“The door is open. With the Portuguese playing here, PSG can only fill the stadium. I feel good in the Parc des Princes, in front of tens of thousands of fans. That’s great.” – Le’Equipe quoted Ronaldo’s supposed conversation with his best friend.
However, in addition to Messi, the rich French guy now has Neymar and Mbappe as extremely quality attack options. In Ronaldo’s form this season, it’s hard to imagine the owner of 5 golden balls could replace anyone in PSG’s trio who is in brilliant scoring form.
Ronaldo have scored three goals this season, compared to Messi’s 11, Mbappe’s 18 and Neymar’s 13. But both Messi and Ronaldo’s contract will expire next summer and there is no guarantee that the Argentine will extend his stay in France.
Barcelona, Inter Miami and even childhood club Newell’s Old Boys are all considered possible destinations for Messi in the near future. If El Pulga leaves France, then that could open a space for Ronaldo to break up with the MU and dock in the glorious Parisian capital.
