Jadon Sancho: Neymar admits special love for ‘incredible’ Manchester United star

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has claimed that he has a special love for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho.

Man United lured Sancho from Borussia Dortmund last season but the forward failed to live up to expectations in his first season as United finished 6th in the Premier League with zero goal difference.

The England international performed well in Man United’s pre-season and did well in the first few games including scoring goals against Liverpool and Leicester City.

However, during the last few games before the international break, the 22-year-old struggled with consistency and miss the last four games due to illness.

As a result, the former Dortmund winger wasn’t called up to the England squad for the World Cup but that doesn’t stop Neymar from heaping praise on the Manchester United winger.

“I forgot about England but obviously they have a chance [at winning the World Cup],” Neymar said as quoted by the Telegraph.

“I really like [Harry] Kane and Jadon Sancho. They’re two incredible players and I have a special love for them because I like players that have their qualities.”

Sancho has scored twice and provided one assist in ten Premier League matches this season.

Last season, he managed three assists and three goals in 29 matches
