The 2022 FIFA World Cup is only days away now.
With the global football family gearing up for a feast of action, the sides involved will be making their final picks for the men who will represent them on the biggest stage in the game.
In fact, some have already jumped the gun, with Brazil today naming their squad of superstars that will be on the plane to the gulf.

Brazil’s incredible squad depth
It’s a squad dripping with talent but most importantly, with depth as Brazil head to the tournament as favourites among the bookmakers.
Across the board the South American side boast a gaggle of world-beaters in each and every position making them the side to beat in Qatar.
ou know when the likes of Roberto Firmino is missing out on a place in the squad that it must be a pretty special group.
Antony’s reaction to making Brazil World Cup squad
One man who will be on the plane though, is new Manchester United signing, Antony.
The former Ajax star has been mightily impressive over the last months and was thoroughly deserving of his big-money move to Old Trafford.
It seems it was the right decision as well with the move paying dividends and earning him a spot among Tite’s team.
And if you’re wondering just how much a ticket to the World Cup means to a player, look no further than the footage of Antony’s reaction to the news.

Flanked by close friends and family, Antony jumps for joy when his name is read out before breaking into songs and chanting in the embrace of his people.
Naturally, tears followed as he tightly embraced his father who was sat by his side during the announcement.
Antony will be hoping to play a big part in Brazil’s campaign but, as stated before, competition will be stiff for those eleven starting positions.
Still, even just being apart of a Brazilian squad at the World Cup is a truly special achievement considering the long-running love affair the nation shares with the global event.
With the likes of Neymar, Casemiro, Dani Alves, Vinicius, Alisson and Ederson – to name but a few – also on the plane, Brazil will be very confident of going deep in the tournament.
It all begins in earnest on the November 20 when hosts Qatar take on Ecuador at the Al Bayt Stadium.
Brazil, meanwhile, begin their campaign with a clash against Serbia on November 24.
