Ronaldo Feelings about Staying At Manchester United

Ronaldo Feelings: After failing to complete a deal on deadline day, Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to stay at Manchester United two months after telling Erik ten Hag and the club’s administration that he wants to leave.

After missing out on a deadline-day deal to AC Milan, Cristiano Ronaldo is “driven” to assist Manchester United have a great season.

The 37-year-old megastar let United know just how he felt about leaving this summer almost two months ago. But now that the transfer window is closed, he will undoubtedly be a Red Devil – at least through January. At the last minute, Ronaldo did have some optimism, and it came from San Siro.

According to the MEN, there was speculation that Milan might try to sign the United icon if they lost Rafael Leao, who was expected to sign with Chelsea. Leao, a 23-year-old attacker who played for Portugal alongside Ronaldo at the international level, was finally deemed too pricey for the Blues when AC placed a staggering £130 million price tag on his head.

After being turned down by Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, and Napoli earlier in the window, Ronaldo is now without a suitor, and Milan no longer needs to prepare a successor since negotiations quickly came to an end. However, fans of the Red Devils will be happy to know that the Old Trafford legend is allegedly prepared to put in hard work in Manchester for another campaign.

Despite wanting to keep his record as the most prolific goalscorer in Champions League history, Sky Sport Italia reports that Ronaldo has warmed to the idea of playing for United in the Europa League this season. Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport add that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is now ‘resigned’ to staying put.

Unfortunately for Ronaldo, Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag benched him for the third straight game on deadline day. With Marcus Rashford continuing to start up front and Cristiano Ronaldo being confined to a 26-minute cameo, United travelled to Leicester City and defeated them 3-0 to make it three wins in a row in Premier League games.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus talisman is still a part of Ten Hag’s plans, though, and he indicated that Ronaldo has accepted his situation after additional discussions about his near future. “Yes, we’ve had multiple conversations. On the same page, “the Dutch coach stated at a press conference prior to the game. “If not, he wouldn’t be here,”

When questioned if the world’s best scorer could fit into his system, Ten Hag added: “The demands are defined by the game’s style. You can tell he has the skills because of his training. He’s a superb player, therefore I don’t need to explain why he will fit in. He can fit into any system or fashion because of his excellent qualities.”
