Antony: Man Utd star trolled Chelsea man after Casemiro’s goal

Antony made sure to celebrate in Jorginho’s face after Manchester United’s dramatic late equaliser against Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.

United put in a decent performance in the Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge but lacked a cutting edge in front of goal.

Jorginho’s penalty in the 87th minute looked as if it would give the home

But United kept pushing and they got the goal they needed in the fourth minute of stoppage-time.

Luke Shaw swung a cross into the box and Casemiro’s brilliant header crossed the line by the slimmest of margins.

United’s players went crazy celebrating their late equaliser.

Antony was one of the United players that wildly celebrated in front of the travelling away supporters.

But first, he made sure to goad one of Chelsea’s players.

Immediately after the goal, Antony’s first thought was to run to Jorginho and celebrate in his face.

The referee for the match, Stuart Attwell, was standing right in front of the Italian midfielder but Antony did not care one bit.

Edwin van der Sar: Antony’s departure was a hard one to take

Antony has fast become a fan favourite since signing for Man United in an £86m move from Ajax this summer.

Ajax’s CEO and former United player, Edwin van der Sar, recently spoke out about hos the transfer was a hard one to take for the Dutch giants.

“It was our opinion they should stay for another year. We gave a firm ‘no’ to Arsenal when they came first for Lisandro; we fought hard to keep him,” he said, per the Daily Mail.

“It was [an] economic [decision] but it was a hard one to take. We knew there was interest but not at that level and it was too late to find a good replacement.

“I don’t think the way [Antony] handled it was the correct one, but it’s important all the players who leave Ajax have success because it reflects well on us.”
