Data indicate Rashford is having his best season ever, but after TEN Omonia misses, Ten Hag warns the Man Utd sensation
Marcus Rashford has been cautioned by ERIK TEN HAG that he must quickly recover his deadly instinct.
The Manchester United striker has scored 98 club goals, just two short of the century mark.
He scored five goals in ten games this season, including two doubles as United fought to a 3-2 victory over Omonia Nicosia and against Arsenal.

Rashford, though, squandered TEN of the 34 chances he was given to score as Ten Hag’s team fought to a 1-0 Europa League home victory over the Cypriot team.
Even though Ten Hag stated that he will most likely start him in tomorrow’s game against Newcastle, the Dutchman made it clear that his patience is already running out.
The Old Trafford manager praised Rashford for a number of his accomplishments against Neil Lennon’s underdogs.
But he is aware that he needs to play with better precision and that he needed to score a goal.
“You have to finish when you have such good movements and make such good combos and actions.
“I realize that sometimes it’s just a game, that it’s not your night, and that it’s all about the way the day looks, but it can change in another game.
The opportunities he generates demonstrate that he is in a pretty good run.
He has now had a couple of unlucky games.
“Last Sunday [against Everton], he should have scored, but they disallowed it. This time, he failed to do so. Save that until next week, in my opinion.
Anthony Martial, who missed the Omonia match due to a hip issue, might be able to play against the Toons, and Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to start just his second Premier League game of the year.
Ten Hag believes he has players in his squad who can score 20 goals a season as an additional message to Rashford that his position is in jeopardy.
Yes, I’m confident in most of the players scoring, he continued.
They assume the position, and the last phase also involves the player’s freedom, intuition, and the space they must occupy.
“You’ll see that they’ll score that many goals if they have the talent and the potential to do so.
“There are players on our team who can score that many goals.
However, you can divide it because our offensive unit has a lot of goal scorers.
Tomorrow will show whether Ten Hag trusts Ronaldo, 37, who has made it very apparent that he is now eager to join on board.
According to the 700-goal hero, the background music is now considerably more melodious than it was three months ago when Ten Hag took over.

He tweeted “We believe till the end,” along with the United colors of red, white, and black and a photo of the starting lineup from Thursday night’s game.
CRIS AND MAKE UP
If Ronaldo is chosen to play against Newcastle, he will have the potential to finish his final season with United as a player that his no-nonsense manager views as a key piece.
However, Ronaldo will be aware that he is likely to be playing out time until his second and final departure if Martial, to whom Ten Hag has been expressing warm accolades, comes right back in.
Ten Hag seemed to insinuate that he and Ronaldo had been getting along better before their altercation in Omonia.
Ronaldo’s boasting and absence from preseason practice had infuriated Ten Hag.
Now that he is interacting with him once more, Ronaldo is pressing the ball hard, as he did against Omonia and when he scored his 700th club goal at Goodison Park.
The fridge door has now been opened for him, if not quite bringing him in from the cold.
Additionally encouraging Ten Hag to give Ronaldo one more hurrah is the way Antony has reacted to him since Ronaldo’s £85.5 million move from Ajax.
The younger players on the team reportedly felt intimidated by the veteran’s presence.
But the 22-year-old Brazilian winger claimed: “Cristiano Ronaldo has really made me feel at ease since I’ve been here.
He always urges me to be calm and confident since he has accomplished so much in football, and I grow every day because of him.
“I’m incredibly appreciative that such an experienced guy is coaching us young players every day,” said the athlete.
Harry Maguire will miss his fifth straight game due to a strained thigh muscle.
However, Ten Hag is hopeful that he will be able to play on Wednesday when Tottenham visits Old Trafford.
- De Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Martinez, Shaw, Eriksen, Casimiro, Antony, Fernandes, Rashford, and Ronaldo are the expected Manchester United lineup players
