Cristian Romero names Manchester United star among being best two centre-backs in Premier League

The Argentine shared his opinion on who are the best two centre-backs in the Premier League and he included fellow countryman Lisandro Martinez.Martinez joined Manchester United from Ajax in the summer and has been an instant hit in defence.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Romero named Martinez alongside Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk as the two finest defenders in the league.

“Today, the best defender for me is Virgil van Dijk always, and Lisandro Martinez from Manchester United. For me, they are the best in the Premier League.”

Martinez and Varane have been solid at the back for United
